Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
There was only one online test and it included several parts and each part is to be completed in a specific time limit set for that part. The parts were divided into mainly 2 categories one was aptitude, second was technical. The aptitude part consisted of various types of questions but the time limit was very short. The technical part consisted of 35 SQL questions(few of them were difficult) and 10 questions on data structures. Most of the questions were to find out the output of the given code. Total of 132 students were selected out of 584.
Describe your all Technical Interviews specifying number of rounds and details of each round (if any).
There was only one technical round for me(it was a 1-hour long interview) but for few students they took 2 technical rounds. There were two interviewers, firstly they introduced themselves and then they asked me to do the same. Following are the questions they asked: 1. There was a small discussion on my projects which were in machine learning. 2. I code in C++ so they asked me what is Object oriented programming and then they asked me to explain all the features of OOP’s. 3. Difference between run-time and compile-time polymorphism. 4. They asked a data structures question – Detect a loop in a linked list and I gave them three ways to solve the question. 5. It was a puzzle Using only a 4 minute and 7 minute hourglass how would you measure exactly 9 minutes and I was not able to do this question. 6. DFS in a graph, I wrote the code and they asked me to dry run the code. 7. They gave me another puzzel because I was not able to solve the previous puzzel (8-identical-balls-problem). 8. Then they asked me that if I had any questions for them(I asked them 2 questions).
Describe your all HR interviews specifying the number of rounds and details of each round.
There was only one HR round (for about 10 minutes) 1. Introduce yourself 2. Small discussion on my projects 3. My biggest achievement of college life. 4. My strengths 5. My weakness 6. Any question from my side
Any advice to juniors for the technical skills they should develop?
Try to solve different questions daily so that it comes it in your habit and do not skip subjects to revise like DBMS, OS and CN.
Any advice to juniors for cracking an HR round?
Try to give mock interviews to each other and work on the feedback you get.
