Interview Questions
Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
My name is Arpit Arora and I am currently in my 7th semester, pursuing Computer Science Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala Campus.
I have always been good at academics. I have a role of Software Engineer under SEP (Software Engineer Program) at JPMC currently.
And I did my summer internship from Schlumberger PITC which is a oil based company but it’s IT support center is in India based in Pune.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
I would rate it around 3/10.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
The process for selection in JPMC, is first of all CGPA cut which is merely ON – CAMPUS placement process and JPMC does Campus placements parallelly in all colleges, JPMC does not take OFF-CAMPUS placements.
It takes Campus placements through code for good. Basically, code for good is Hackathon part.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
Online Assessment is also the first round for placement in JPMC which is decided after an Application form by the applicant.
In online assessment, there are typically two questions, and they are basically are of medium or easy level, and they are not typically hard.
After the online assessment, there is a Virtual Recorded Interview which is the second round.
This is of 10 minutes, and in this phase, we do not have to answer the actual interviewer, and this consists of typically two questions, and you have to record your answers and send it to them.
On the basis of the second round, you get selected for the third round, which is code for good, Hackathon. It is the final round for the placement process in JPMC and on the basis of this round, you get recruited into the company.
