Interview Questions

Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers

I am Kritarth Gupta, and I’m currently in my final year, pursuing Btech in Computer Science. I got a full-time offer from ZS associates.

Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

I would rate the overall difficulty level to be 7 out of 10.

Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)

Firstly, there was an eligibility criterion of cgpa. Then there was an online assessment, which was the MCQ round. It included analytic thinking, critical ability, and verbal ability, and 1-2 case study questions were also there. It was a 60 minutes online assessment.
Those who cleared this round were moved to phase 2.
It had 2 rounds, the first was a tech round and the second was an interview round, both technical and HR.

In the technical round, there were 3 sections.
Section 1: It was an MCQ round. Questions were mainly about DBMS, concepts about sequels and queries.
Section 2: There was a programming question.
Section 3: Query Writing. It consisted of 1-2 questions.

Those who cleared round 2 moved to the Interview Round which was both Technical and HR.

Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)

The test platform was ‘Metal’.
In Phase 1, there were basic Analytical ability questions which can be found on geeks for geeks. They were primarily focused on our logic-building skills.
There was a case study round as well.
Phase 2 was majorly a technical round. DBMS was the major focus. Section 1 was purely based on the sequel. Section 2 was programming. It was related to analytic thinking only, but we were expected to code it. Then there were 2 questions on query writing.
