Interview Questions
Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
Hello, readers! I’m Manmeet Singh, a final-year COE student at Thapar Institute hailing from New Delhi. I’m a passionate coder with a keen interest in competitive programming. Thrilled to share that I have wrapped up a research internship at Samsung Prism, and I’m excited to embark on a new journey as a Tech Intern for the role of Software Development Engineer at Exotel.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
In my experience, I would rate the difficulty level of the interview at an 6/7 out of 10 but it may vary from person to person. In my case , I consider that my online test was easy but the tech interview round was the real deal.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
So, the placement process began with 350 applicants filling out a Google form. This was followed by an online test round. Those selected from the test proceeded to face a technical interviews before culminating in a final HR interview. A total 7 applicants were finally considered for the role.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
So, the online test comprised three sections: aptitude, English, and DSA. The English section featured straightforward unseen passages, while the DSA section included four questions covering topics like DP, Arrays, and Strings. Notably, one question involved simply reversing a string. Overall, the test was manageable and focused on fundamental concepts.
