Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
Hi, my name is Mirang Puri and I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering at Thapar University. I have received on-campus FTE offer from PlaySimple Games.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
I would rate it a 7-8 , rest depends on a person’s preparation.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
Total of 900 people applied for the placement out of which 300 were shortlisted based on CGPA and 10th and 12th board percentage above 90%.Out of 300, 270 people were shortlisted for the role of software developer and about 30 for Business analyst.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
A HackerEarth test was conducted that had 15 MCQ’s which needed to be done in 60 minutes. The topics covered were Data Structures and Algorithms, Operating Systems and other Computer fundamentals. Test also included 3 coding questions out of which 1st was based on balanced parentheses which was easy, 2nd was based on coin change of medium difficulty and 3rd one was considerably hard, based on graphs(DSU).I was able to solve all the questions.
