Interview Questions

Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers

Hello! My name is Shivanshi Garg, I am in my fourth year of Computer engineering (COE). I was born and raised in Ludhiana, Punjab. I am a keen learner and I love to explore new things. My hobbies include playing badminton, reading books and listening to music. Talking about my tech stack, I have a good hold on C programming and DSA concepts.

Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

I’ll say it was around 6.5-7, also depends on your preparation and your interviewer.

Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)

In the beginning, there was the usual form filling for this company, and the criteria was a CGPA above 7.5 and no backlogs but there was an external cut of 8 for the online test, so around 900 students filled the form. One thing to keep in mind would be, that the shortlisting criteria was based off on resume as well. After the initial resume and CGPA based shortlisting, 133 students were shortlisted for online assessment round. After that there was a technical interview followed by an HR interview round.

Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)

The first was an online assessment round. The round lasted for around 90 minutes. It was video-audio proctored, and conducted on their own platform. First, they had an opinion-based question. After this, there were 15 aptitude questions like, boat-river problems, age-ratio, blood relation etc. Then, 15 technical questions from DBMS, OOPs, programming  based questions like pre-order and post-order, loops etc. Next 15 questions were English reasoning like paragraph, synonyms and antonyms. Lastly, two basic DSA coding questions, one from dynamic programming (DP) and the second was a famous Leetcode price-stock problem. Next section was a switch/motion challenge which checked the candidate’s speed and problem solving ability. Also, kindly start in the initial 5-10 minutes of logging in for the test, it helps in selection. Do all the questions.
