Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers

My name is Swatantra Singh, I am from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh and currently pursuing Electrical Engineering at Thapar University. I am placed at Amadeus as a Software Engineer and will be doing my internship and full-time there, so this was all about me.

Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

The interviewee reported that the difficulty level of the interview was 7, which makes it moderately difficult. (1-very easy, 10-very difficult)

Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)

The interviewee filled out the form of the company, and then there was a link given for an online test. The interviewee reported that an average of about 7.5 CGPA would be preferable for this company. Then there was an online test of 1.5 hours, involving MCQ questions regarding CS fundamentals, 2 coding questions, and an SHL test(involving passages). After clearing the online round, interviews were held offline on campus. There were 2 rounds of interviews, the first one of one hour, where questions related to CS fundamentals like linked lists(insertion and deletion, important), ER diagrams, and some RDBMS questions like denormalization were asked, coupled with some basic HR questions. 15 mins past the first round, the interviewee was called again for an in-depth HR round. After successfully clearing these rounds, the interviewee bagged the profile.

Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)

The platform on which the online test was taken was Hackerrank. There were a total of 31 questions(duration: 1.5 hours), most of which (21)were related to CS fundamentals and were MCQs. 2 questions pertaining to coding were asked where the first one was related to strings and the other to trees. Along with this, there was an SHL test that involved passages/comprehensions, the first passage being a reading comprehension and the second related to data interpretation.
