Interview Questions

Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers

I am an engineer, with a keen interest in knowing about everything else which is not engineering. Some people may use the phrase – ‘Jack of all trades. . .’ to describe me, but I see it as a means to expand my world view. To stay true to the above philosophy, I read a lot. Also, I love writing python scripts that make my machine do things which make my life easier (also, mostly because it’s fun). Recently, I’ve shifted to Data Science, and that is something which really interests me, to the point that i would like to see myself work on some great data science projects in the future, that actually make an impact in real world.

Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

7/10

Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)

The written test was conducted on SHL platform. It consisted of 2 sections – Reading Comprehension and Data Interpretation. For the former, there were 30 questions which were to be solved in 19 minutes. While for the latter, you had 25 minutes for 18 questions.
NOTE: there was no coding/technical section in this online round.
While the comprehensions were really long and time-consuming, the data-interpretation questions were equally challenging given the time constraint and the lengthy calculations involved. We were even allowed to bring our calculators for the same.
After this round 38 were shortlisted for the interviews.
