I am Himanshu Kukreja, currently pursuing Computer Engineering from TIET, Patiala. Over the past three years, I have learned various new Technologies and also have an interest in multiple domains of Engineering apart from Computer Science.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
According to me, I would rate the overall difficulty level to be 8 out of 10.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
There were four rounds in the recruitment process, three technical and one HR.
Technical round 1 was an Online assessment having MCQs and coding questions.
Technical Rounds 2 and 3 were personal Interviews involving tech questions.
And last round was the personal HR/managerial round.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
Technical round 1 was an online assessment of the Coderbyte platform. There were 2 Coding Questions:
The first question is the variation of knight tour problem:(https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/minimum-steps-reach-target-knight/)
Second question is the largest rectangular area in a Histogram:
I solved both questions with all the test cases passed in around 45 minutes. These questions were of medium level and required a good understanding of data structures and concepts like backtracking.
Next, there were 15 MCQs on topics ranging from Java, Python, Data Structures, Algorithms, Networking, Operating Systems, etc. The assessment’s total duration is 1 hour and 30 min.
Out of 300 students from this test, 25 were shortlisted for the next round.
