Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
Hello, I am Sudhanshu Poonia currently pursuing my Bachelor of Engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology in the field of Computers. I recently got an internship opportunity at Samsung R&D Noida – globally recognised as one of the industry leaders in technology and development.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
I would rate the difficulty of the placement process to be between 6.5-7. I found the process to be relatively not very hard.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
The complete procedure had about 4 steps:
1. Applying for the company
2. Written Test
3. Interview 1
4. HR round
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
The written part consisted of 1 question with 50 test cases. All the test cases had to be passed in order to qualify for the next round. The question was based on recursion and DFS. It took me about 1 hr. to complete the question. Around 380 students appeared for this round and only 12 were shortlisted for the interview. There were 1-2 technical interviews based on the performance after the written test.
