Interview Questions

Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers

Hello, I’m Tushar Saini from Yamunanagar, Haryana. I’m pursuing my bachelor’s in computer engineering from Thapar University. I did my schooling at Jawahar Navoday Vidyalaya. Since CS is omnipresent, I spent five to six years in college and earlier in my academic career honing my technical knowledge and skills. Web development is something that interests me.

Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

3/10

Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)

So first, we had to fill out the Google forms and register ourselves on the Maruti Suzuki portal.
Selection Process:
Online Test of shortlisted students (Technical, Aptitude & Psychometric);
Then, candidates were shortlisted for the Presentation and Personal Interview Round (Technical + HR)

Eligibility Criteria:
Students must have scored at least 65% marks or equivalent CGPA marks in 10th & 12th / Diploma (if applicable)
Students must have scored at least 65% marks aggregate or equivalent CGPA till the recent Semester in BE/B.Tech
Only FULL Time and Regular education is eligible (10th/12th/Diploma/B.Tech)

Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)

The Test Format consisted of the following sections in two parts; both were mandatory and must be completed end to end. Test platform : SHL ; Time duration : 2hrs

Part A consisted of:
Ability and Aptitude Test;
Psychometric Test;
This portion mainly consisted of questions involving data analytics and data interpretation.

Part B consisted of:
Technical Test;
We had a drop-down menu in this portion where we could choose our department, such as electrical, CS & IT, etc. I have selected CS & IT.
Questions regarding bit manipulation, time complexity analysis, and sorting were mainly asked in this section. Along with MCQs and fillups, Output-related questions were also there.
Because there were more questions and less time to answer, this segment was more challenging than the others.
