Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
Hi, my name is Agrima Malhotra and I am a fourth-year COE student at TIET, Patiala. I recently got placed in McKinsey & Company in May 2022. My technical expertise is in Machine Learning and Robotics. My projects revolve around the idea of ‘AI for Good’. I have also been a part of many International Projects. Besides my interest in the technical field, I am an artist. I have hosted many solo painting exhibitions and have received appreciation letters from the 12th and 13th Presidents of India. I am also a livid reader and love to play badminton from time to time.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
I would rate it as 7.5.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
McKinsey was the first company that visited the campus for hiring. The placement procedure stretched to a span of 2 months. The procedure started with the online assessment which was conducted for all the eligible students. The assessment was conducted on the HackerRank platform and consisted of two coding questions and two MySQL-based queries. After the test, the first round was the code pair round which was conducted online due to COVID-19. This was followed by the two offline interviews one being the technical interview and the other being a combination of technical and generic questions taken by one of the CTO at McKinsey Digital. There were no specific HR interviews conducted. In totality, one online assessment and three interview rounds were conducted.

The procedure started with an online assessment which was conducted for all the eligible students. The assessment was conducted on the HackerRank platform and consisted of two coding questions and two MySQL-based queries.
