Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
Hi, my name is Ajaipaul Singh Bajwa I am from Amritsar, Punjab pursuing Computer science and engineering at Thapar University. I was offered an internship and full-time offer as a Software Engineer at Amadeus during an on-campus placement drive in 2022.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
The interviewee reported that the difficulty level of the interview was around 6, which places it under a moderate difficulty level.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
The interviewee filled out a form that was required by the company post which they were provided with a link to an online test. There was strict proctoring and questions of moderate to high difficulty were presented. Problems based on various Data Structures such as arrays ( nth number missing in a 3-D array ) and linked lists ( finding the Kth element) were asked. Upon clearing the online test round, the interviewee appeared for the technical interview round wherein questions from computer fundamentals, OOPs, sorting algorithms and data structures were asked. The next and final round was the HR round. In the end, the interviewee was successfully able to bag the profile.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
The platform used for the test by the company was HackerEarth. There was a No. of questions ranging from Computer Science fundamentals to concepts such as OOPs and Data structures and algorithms. Post the online assessment questions on reasoning along with maths were asked on SHL.
