Interview Questions
Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
I am Ananya Gupta, a final-year Computer Engineering student at Thapar Institute of Technology. I hail from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, and I’m thrilled to have been placed at JPMC through their Code for Good Hackathon. I will be joining them as a Software Engineer Program (SEP) intern next year for six months with conversion to Software Developer. In addition to academics, I enjoy watching movies, dancing, and staying active by hitting the gym in my free time.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
The coding round had a moderate difficulty level, around 6 out of 10. The HR AI interview round was quite straightforward and not particularly challenging. For the hackathon, having a specific niche or expertise is important to contribute effectively to the project.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
JPMC was among the first companies to visit our campus, offering a two-month internship (June and July) during the third year. Students were shortlisted based on their resumes.
The first round was a coding test with two easy-to-medium-level questions.
This was followed by an HR AI interview, where candidates answered two situational questions.
Shortlisted candidates then participated in the Code for Good Hackathon, a 24-hour event where teams comprising students from various colleges collaborated on a project.
Each stage was an elimination round, and 33 candidates were finally selected for the internship this time.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
The first round was the coding test, which included two questions. The difficulty level was moderate, and a solid grasp of basic concepts was sufficient to clear this round.
