Interview Questions
Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
Hello everyone, I’m Anirudh Singh and I’m currently in my final year of pursuing Bachelors in Electronics and Computers at TIET, Patiala. Having done my schooling from Amity International School, Sector 46, Gurgaon, I joined Thapar in 2019 in ENC branch. As time passed, I joined several societies and also continued developing my coding skills. Knowing that non-tech has always been my forte, i have always been up for exploring different job profiles- which are more inclined towards the non-technical side. And recently, I’ve been placed in Ernst&Young, one of the Big Four professional services companies, as an Advanced Analyst.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
Overall, I would rate the difficulty level as 6/10.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
The foremost step was filling up a Google form, followed by an online assessment. This assessment consisted of a Verbal section, Logical Reasoning section, Aptitude section and a Coding section. Proceeding further, there was a Technical round and finally, the HR round.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
There was a section-wise cutoff in each section of the online assessment. The verbal section had grammar problems, passage filling, etc. The logical section mostly had pattern based questions and the aptitude section contained simple, logic-based problems on time-distance, clock, height, etc. The coding section (having several questions from loop implementation and variable declaration ) tested a candidate’s elementary coding skills.
