Interview Questions
Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
I am Ankit, a fourth year ECE student at Thapar university and as you know I got placed in Amadeus. Talking about my hobbies, initially, I was interested in electronics but as my interest grew in tech, I started coding, and then I participated in various competitions and hackathons. Other than tech I am interested in dancing and sketching.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
The interviewee reported that the difficulty level of the interview was 6(1-very easy, 10-very difficult). The interview was moderately difficult. you have to know the course of CS like DSA, OOPs, DBMS, and OS. The first person who went in for the interview was asked about system design. So, it can be difficult but most of the time it’s not that difficult. All you have to do is stay confident even if you don’t know the answers.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
1. There were two online tests followed by two rounds of offline interview.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
1. The first online test (technical test) consisted of 30 MCQs and 2 coding questions. The test was proctored. The MCQs were asked from almost every language, some of them were ruby, c#, C++, JavaScript, and python. Then there were two coding questions one from the graph and the other from arrays. The MCQs had a lot of weightages so if you do the MCQs you have a higher chance of getting selected. The second test was for 1 hour having two sections of 20 questions each, the first section had questions from data interpretation and the second section had questions from verbal reasoning and English.
