Interview Questions

Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers

Hello, my name is Anmol Gupta, and I’m a final-year BTech student at Thapar University majoring in computer engineering. I’m a Chandigarh native. I just started working for Cisco. In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies and playing sports. I also enjoy listening to music.

Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

6 , above average

Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)

One code question was part of a 30-MCQ online test. For the subsequent round of interviews, 30 to 35 candidates were chosen from the shortlist created after the online test. Following the online test, there were three rounds of interviews. The first round consisted only of technical questions, the second round had managerial and technical questions, and the third and final phase included HR. Webex was used for all of the interviews.

Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)

The 60-minute online test consisted of 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and 1 coding question. Computer networking and security-related MCQs made up the majority of the technical questions. The coding question ranged in difficulty from easy to medium. One should concentrate more on DSA ideas and the fundamentals of computer networking if they are prepping for this test.
