Interview Questions

Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers

I am a final year student of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Thapar Institute Of Engineering & Technology; I am currently having a CGPA of 9.1 and I feel very proud to say that I got an offer of FTE+Intern at Celigo. I have a keen interest in web designing and app development and so I have made some projects in the same.

Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

I personally feel that an interview is completely different for each and every individual as some are comfortable with some rounds of it and others are not so, rating an interview procedure would be a little difficult as there are many parameters on which it can be rated. If I were to rate the interview on my personal experience and on the basis of difficulty then, I would rate it ‘8’ because rounds 1 and 2 were completely DSA-based and questions were quite good.

Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)

The interview process for Celigo was quite an exhausting one as it had four rounds of interviews which lasted for about 45 – 50 minutes. First, we had an online test followed by the interview rounds in which the first two rounds were based on DSA and some CS fundamentals while the last two rounds were based on my CV, along with some managerial and HR questions. Also, each round was an elimination round.

Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)

It was conducted on Hackerank and had one or two coding questions, (Leetcode medium) followed by some aptitude questions and some of CS fundamentals. I was able to solve all the questions within time. Around 40- 45 students were selected for the interview.
