Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
I’m Danish Agnihotri, a final-year student in the Electronics and Communication department. My areas of interest include microelectronics and embedded systems.
My hobbies include working on various projects related to these fields and interacting with new people.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
After clearing the technical rounds, candidates proceed to the HR round, which serves as a fit-check. The questions revolve around personal background, projects, and the motivation behind joining Cadence design systems.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
The opportunity at Cadence Design Systems is among the best in the industry, although it comes with a six-month unpaid training program.To be eligible for the interview, the first step is to secure a referral from someone within the company. After that, CV shortlisting is conducted, and if selected, candidates receive an email regarding their interview schedule within one to two weeks
For me, I had four interviews for Cadence.
