Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
Hi! I am Garvita Bhateja. I’m a 4th year student pursuing my UG degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Control Engineering. My current CGPA is 9.38 and I’m a 2 time merit scholarship holder. I have been a part of over 6 societies of which I am currently the marketing head of TEDxTIET. I am the recipient of two pan India fellowships for pursuing UG research. I am a pentalingual individual and love learning about new cultures. I have a wide variety of interests ranging from Bhangra and Cooking to Neuroscience and Psychology.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
It’s a pretty subjective question, in the sense that it depends upon your interviewer. Overall in my case, I think it went smoothly as I connected with the interviewer well.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
So there was 1 technical test (mix of aptitude and coding) of 1 hour followed by 1 interview of 30-40 minutes.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
Test platform: Amcat sections: a) verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC)- grammatic questions, sense correction, idioms, and verbs. b) Data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR)- a chart will be given and you need to derive insights from that. c) Quantitative aptitude- probability, PnC, sequence, and series d) coding- (basic to medium level questions) OOPs, arrays, trees, DSA the pattern was really similar to that of the CAT exam.
