Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
My name is Jaskaran, and I am currently in my 4th year in COE branch at Thapar University, Patiala . Recently, I received a placement offer from Google.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
The selection process began with the company reviewing the candidate’s resumes to assess their qualifications and skills. Following this, a coding round was conducted, comprising two programming questions. Out of all participants, 25 candidates were shortlisted and advanced to the interview stage. The interview primarily focused on data structures and algorithms (DSA) and also included an HR round to evaluate interpersonal and behavioral skills.Google places significant emphasis on the quality and presentation of students’ resumes.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
The coding test was a rigorous assessment lasting 1 hour and 10 minutes, requiring candidates to solve two problems.
The questions were moderately challenging—neither too difficult nor overly simple. They primarily focused on concepts related to graphs, mathematical reduction, and a combination of data structures and algorithms (DSA) with computational logic.
