Interview Questions
Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
I am Manav, currently in my fourth year, pursuing studies in the COE branch. I am pleased to share that I have secured a placement at Make My Trip, marking a significant milestone in my academic and professional journey.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
7 out of 10
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
It all starts with this OA (Online Assessment) phase featuring aptitude questions and two coding challenges. You\’ve got to ace it with a CG (Cumulative Grade) of 8.5 or higher. Then, you move on to the tech rounds.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
Round one is a deep dive into DSA (Data Structures and Algorithms) – three coding problems on the menu. First up, shuffling elements from one stack to another, next, finding the first non-repeating integer (with some pseudocode vibes), and finally, a deep dive into the Longest Common Substring with a DP (Dynamic Programming) twist.
Round two takes a detour into the realm of resumes and low-level design. Spent quality time discussing my projects, and since both the interviewer and I were Java enthusiasts, the conversation delved heavily into core Java concepts.
