Interview Questions

Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers

My name is Muskan Bhatia, and I am currently in my 8th semester of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Alongside my academic journey, I have developed a strong focus on technical skills and data analytics.

During my internship at an organization called Suvidha Foundation, I collaborated with my team to successfully launch a meaningful and impactful web page. This experience not only honed my teamwork abilities but also gave me practical insights into project development.

I have a solid foundation in technical skills, including proficiency in Power BI, Excel, Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), and Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs). Additionally, I have a strong understanding of core electronics concepts. I am passionate about leveraging these skills to contribute effectively to challenging projects.

Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

I would rate the entire interview process as a 7. The questions were relatively simple but quite tricky, requiring a good understanding of concepts and a thoughtful approach to solving them.

Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)

The placement process started with a pre-placement talk, which lasted for about an hour. During this session, the company introduced us to their work culture, values, and provided a detailed overview of the interview process.

Following the pre-placement talk, there was an initial shortlisting based on our resumes. After that, we had to take an aptitude test. The test included questions on data interpretation, English proficiency, and basic mathematical concepts. These questions assessed our analytical and problem-solving skills.

Candidates who cleared the aptitude test were shortlisted for the next stage. Afterward, Bain conducted a case study workshop to help us understand their approach and methodology. Finally, there were two interview rounds. Each round was designed to evaluate our technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and overall fit for the company.
