Interview Questions
Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
My name is Parth Garg. I’ve completed my BTech from Thapar University. I’ve been placed at Paytm as an SDE intern currently. I’ve gotten an offer as an intern and full time.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
There were a total of 4 rounds. First was the coding round in which around 8 questions were there. 3 out of them were coding questions (2 from DSA and 1 from SQL query) and 5 were MCQs.
900 students appeared for it, out of which 64 students were shortlisted for the first interview round. It was a data structures and algorithms’ round of 45 minutes in which there were 2 coding questions, purely from DSA, from 3 pointer approach and linked list respectively.
Then around 32 students were shortlisted for the round 2.
It was a project based round. There was only 1 coding question from DSA and mainly focused on the CS fundamentals.
Then there was an HR round, which was also an elimination round. Almost around 22 students were finally selected.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
It was almost of 2.5-3 hours on hackerrank platform. The camera was kept on, and there were 8 coding questions of medium difficulty level. If you practice leetcode medium questions, it will be sufficient. There was one question from SQL query (basic -medium level) .
There were 2 coding questions, one from priority queue and 1 from strings. There were 5 MCQs from graph and tree section.
