Interview Questions
Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
I am Parv Gupta, a final year student at Thapar University pursuing B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering. I am currently placed at MAQ Software through campus placements.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
I would rate it a 6; it also depends on your interviewer.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
There was a written test, followed by three rounds of interviews: two technical and one HR.
About my technical rounds:
Round 1 -The interviewer was very friendly; he asked me 2 SQL queries, followed by some DBMS concepts and one easy DSA question.
Round 2 – This round was with a group of 6 students. The interviewer asked me two DSA questions of easy to medium level, followed by some basic OOP concepts. The interviewer was impressed as I was able to code and answer all the questions.
In my HR round they about my interests and achivements.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
The test was conducted on the Talent Decrypt platform and consisted of 20 multiple-choice questions, 1 SQL question, and 2 coding questions— one was hard, and the other was of medium difficulty.
