Interview Questions

Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers

My name is Praval Kaushal. I am a final-year Computer Engineering student at TIET with an aggregate CGPA of 8.91. I am interested in pursuing a career in ML and AI.

Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

I’d say for me, it was around 5, but it totally depends on your preparation.

Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)

The entire campus recruitment process took place on January 29th at the TIET campus. It began with a mandatory Pre-Placement Talk for those interested in proceeding further. This was followed by two online assessments, an interview, and a psychometric test conducted two days after the interview, which was a non-elimination round.

Before sharing my experience, I would like to mention that if you plan to participate in the process, be mentally prepared. The company is highly reputed and offers great opportunities, but there is a 30-month service agreement, which includes a six-month internship with a 100% conversion rate to a full-time employee (FTE).

Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)

The first online test lasted around 15 minutes and was conducted on the company’s platform. Questions were displayed on the screen, and we had to respond verbally while the AI recorded our answers. The first 5 minutes assessed communication skills, while the next 10 minutes evaluated technical knowledge. This was initially meant to be an elimination round, but no one was eliminated.

The second online test included general aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal ability, followed by a coding round on talent next. The coding question required checking whether a given number was an Armstrong number. After this round, 11 out of 13 students were shortlisted for the interview.
