Interview Questions

Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers

Hello, my name is Rajat Paul and I am from Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. I am currently a fourth year student pursuing my B.tech from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. Being a Computer Science Student, I worked on technologies like React, MongoDB and developed some projects on them. I have also done a remote internship in Samsung Prism, where we worked on object detection models .I also have interest in subjects like Data Structures and algorithms, Operating Systems and Database Management System.

Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

Between 7-8

Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)

There were around 1500 students who sat in the test, but after the coding assessment, only 29 were shortlisted for the interviews. After the first technical round, 23 students were selected. Afterwards, 15 were selected for the last round, and then finally 8 people were selected after the bar raiser round.

We had 3 interview rounds, where the first two were the technical round and the last one was the bar-raiser round.

We didn\’t have an HR round. We had a bar-raiser round which was a mixture of everything. The interviewer asked me about OOPS and DSA and I was also asked about myself and my personal life.

Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)

The written test was of two hours comprising 4 coding questions of DSA. The first two questions were doable and most of the students were able to do them. But the last two questions were a bit tough. It was a good experience because it was purely based on skills. There were no MCQs or similar questions.
