Interview Questions
Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
Hello, I’m Taranpreet Kaur Dhiman, currently in my final year of the Computer Science Engineering program at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. I am currently undertaking an internship as a Software Engineer at Juniper Networks in Bangalore. During on-campus placements, I received two offers: one for an internship at Juniper Networks and the other for a full-time position at Accenture. In off-campus placements, I secured an internship offer from BlackBerry QNX, followed by a full-time offer. In the summer of my third year, I had the opportunity to intern at Microsoft. My journey in software engineering has been quite adventurous, providing me with valuable learning experiences.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
On the basis of difficulty, I would say that the interview was of intermediate to hard level.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
The online test comprised MCQs, incorporating aptitude questions and covering diverse topics from DSA, CN, and OS. It addressed a substantial portion of computer science subjects. Following the MCQ section, there were three coding questions hosted on HackerRank. The instructions specified that the first question needed to be completed in C language, the second in Python, and the third in C++. These coding questions varied in difficulty from intermediate to hard level. Notably, these coding questions did not solely focus on basic DSA; they also delved into networking concepts, exploring the functionality of programs. In one instance, a question required the creation of the methods of a class that in general are used directly, like to define the use of operators such as +, – etc.
