Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
Hello, I’m Abhishek Vohra, a 4th-year COE student at Thapar Institute with a specialization in data science. I’ve successfully completed a summer internship at Expedia, and I’m excited to share that my internship offer has been converted into a full-time position as a Product Manager.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
I would rate the difficulty level of the interview as a 7-8, but it’s important to note that this rating can be quite subjective and varies from person to person.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
For the summer internship selection in my 3rd year, the process began with two eliminatory online tests. Only 7 students made it to the interview rounds. The first interview focused on a case study, while the second covered product management and HR aspects and only few of us were able to make through these interview rounds.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
The written tests comprised two rounds. The first was a psychometric round, and those who cleared it proceeded to the second online test, which focused on behavioural questions, assessing how candidates would respond in various situations. This round also had some managerial questions as well and we had to record our video responses for some questions.
