Interview Questions
Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
My name is Aeman Singla and I’m from Nabha. I’m a day scholar at Thapar University. I recently cleared the interview for Advantage club, which is a startup company in Gurgaon.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
It was about 7.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
Firstly, people are selected on the basis of their CGPA. Then there was a coding round that happened on the google forms. Around 40-50 students were then taken into a meeting to take the Google form test in 30 minutes. There were a few MCQs and a few coding questions.
Then, there were the interview rounds.
There were 2 interview rounds.
In the first interview, 2 questions were asked, both related to coding and some questions from OS and DBMS.
The second interview was of 30 minutes duration. There was only 1 question, which was a bit tough. We discussed 2-3 approaches for the same. I had to code it and it was checked against certain test cases.
Later that night, I got a call from the placement coordinator that I’ll be having an HR call.
After this, I got the offer letter from the company.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
The coding test was on Google forms. Due to the lack of IDE, it was a little bothering as we couldn’t check against the test cases side by side.
There were 2 coding questions. One was easy and the other was a little tough. It was about two pointer approach. Then there were a few MCQs.
