Interview Questions
Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
My name is Chhavi Dhankhar, and I am a final-year student pursuing Computer Engineering (COE). When it comes to my hobbies, I like to read and dance.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
The first round felt relatively simple for me because I was well-prepared. I had thoroughly studied all the concepts, including object-oriented programming, exception handling, and access modifiers. On a scale of difficulty, I would rate it a 5 out of 10, as it wasn’t overly challenging.
The second round, however, was a bit more demanding. The interviewer delved into everything I had worked on, especially the projects I showcased. This made the round more challenging, and I would rate it a 6 or 7 out of 10.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
For my placement, I received a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) from the company where I interned as a summer intern. The company, Providence, visited our campus for internship hiring in my third year, around September. The process began with a test that was not too difficult and primarily consisted of aptitude questions along with some DBMS-related topics. There was also one coding question as far as I remember.
About a week later, there was a pre-placement talk where officials from Providence shared details about the company and the internship program. Following the talk, the results of the initial test were announced. I believe there might have been a CGPA cutoff, possibly around 8.5 or higher, though I am not entirely certain.
After being shortlisted, I moved on to the next stage, which included three rounds of interviews.
