Hello, I\’m Saarthak. My hometown is New Delhi, and I am currently in my fourth year pursuing a B.E. in Computer Engineering at Thapar University. I am thrilled to share that I have secured a 6-month internship at Bain and Co. In addition to my academic pursuits, I actively engage in extracurricular activities, such as participating in extemporaneous speaking and debates. I also have a passion for playing badminton and enjoy watching sports.

Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)

Bain is known for its meticulous approach to resume evaluation, employing a rigorous process that includes a resume shortlisting round. Following this, a list of eligible candidates is generated for an online assignment. The assignment comprises 20 questions to be completed within one hour, demanding strong aptitude and analytical skills, along with proficiency in data analysis, mathematical reasoning, and logical thinking. Successfully navigating this stage leads to an interview round. The interview process consists of two rounds. The first round typically involves a guestimate, while the second round includes a case study. If you successfully progress through these stages, you enhance your chances of securing a position at Bain and Co.
