Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

In rating the difficulty level of the interview process at Sequoia Consulting Group, I would give it a 7. While the questions were challenging, they were not insurmountable. The interviewers posed thought-provoking inquiries that required a deep understanding of the subject matter and the ability to think critically on the spot. However, with adequate preparation and a clear understanding of the company’s values and expectations, I found it manageable to navigate through the interview rounds effectively.

Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)

The placement process comprised several sequential stages aimed at evaluating candidates comprehensively.

  1. It commenced with a coding and aptitude assessment to measure technical prowess and problem-solving acumen.
  2. Subsequently, qualified individuals advanced to a technical interview for further evaluation of their competencies and expertise.
  3. Lastly, candidates underwent a HR interview to assess their alignment with the company’s culture and principles. This structured approach ensured a thorough assessment across multiple dimensions prior to final selection.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)

The written/online test, if I recall correctly, was conducted through Mettle. It consisted of both aptitude and coding sections, assessing numerical, logical, and verbal reasoning skills in the aptitude portion, while testing programming proficiency and problem-solving abilities in the coding section.
