Interview Questions
Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
Hello, my name is Dhananjay Juneja. I am final year COE (computer engineering ) student at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology .I’m from Karnal, Haryana. I’m 5 Star coder on Hackerrank and 3 star on codechef.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
Somewhere between 8-8.5
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
There were two rounds : online test and an interview
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
The online test had 2 DSA based coding questions. One was in the range of medium to hard level and another was hard level. There were 30 MCQs based on OOP, DBMS. There were some output based questions as well. The difficulty level of DBMS and output based questions were decent but OOP was asked in depth.I was able to solve both of the coding questions. But for the medium level question, the time limit exceeded (TLE) when I used the brute force approach but then, by optimising it I was able to solve it. That brings into the picture , the optimisation of solutions. Though one should know the brute force approach, but that is not enough, knowing the optimised solution is most important .
