Interview Questions

Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers

I am Akash Mishra. I recently joined ZS for the role of Business Technology Solutions Associate (BTSA). During my last 4 years, I have been the proctor of Hostel C during my 1st year and vice proctor in my 2nd year. I was also the overall student coordinator of the Thapar Food Festival and have been a part of different societies like Saturnalia and Mudra. I have been part of all the cultural parts of the society, which helped me build my personality, and the technical parts that helped me learn everything required to get into the company.

Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

Medium

Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)

Round 1:
Sub-Level 1: Aptitude Round: 45-50 questions of aptitude, technical, computer science, OS, DBMS, and verbal reasoning.
Sub-Level 2: General Case Study: You also have to apply data visualization while answering. Then a set of 8 questions, and you can’t go back to change your answer. You just need to focus on one thing; there is no right or wrong in this; you need to focus on your answer. You’ll have ample time to solve a question(30 minutes for each question).
Sub-Level 3: AI proctored round: Speak on 3 topics(great achievement of your life, guesstimates- how many traffic lights are there in New Delhi) for 3 min in front of the screen. We were given 25 sec to read the topic and 25 sec to prepare. Time can vary. AI will just judge your movements, so be confident in performing/speaking!

Round 2:
Sub-Level 1: Pattern changed this time(earlier SQL queries were asked)
Technical Case Study(9 AM to 10 AM): It involved tables where you have to apply your SQL knowledge. It was also AI-proctored. You can also write just algorithms(instead of whole code) because you’ll be the one explaining your answers to the interviewer.
Sub-Level 2: Interview based on Case Study(1 hr): Mine was at 12 PM. It started with an explanation of the case study and for 40 minutes (the interviewer shared the table on the screen and asked what the problems in this table, like Is there some redundant data? or, data missing? ), then SQL questions based on the employee table, puzzles, general questions on ML. The interviewer was very helpful; I would rate my interview 9/10.
Sub-Level 3: Tech + HR Question: general HR questions:
1. Biggest achievement in my life,?
2. If I’m assigned as a leader for a particular project, how will I proceed with it step by step, and how will I end it?
3. Strength and Weakness, asked a bit of ML based on my projects.
Puzzles: How many squares are there on the chessboard? How many single-colored squares are there on the chessboard?
Guesstimate: how many tennis balls can fit in a Boeing?
