Interview Questions
Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
Hello, I’m Devesh Sehdev from Amritsar, Punjab, currently in my final year of the Computer Science and Business System (CSBS) program at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. I have actively contributed to several student societies like serving as a Travel director in the Adventure Club, Business Analyst in AIESEC, PR associate in ECHOs, overall managing coordinator in Saturnalia, and Secretary in Rotaract.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
On the basis of difficulty, I would rate the interview a 7.5 out of 10.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
They utilized a straightforward process wherein we were required to submit our resumes along with a video introduction, a pivotal aspect for initial screening. In the video, we provided a basic overview of ourselves, focusing on our respective profiles, key responsibilities, and relevant experience. Depending on the nature of the role, certain individuals underwent additional rounds such as a coding round for technical positions or a group discussion round for non-technical roles. However, in my case, I proceeded directly to an interview with the CEO of the company.
The interview duration spanned approximately 40-45 minutes. While some candidates were presented with a case study to solve during their interviews, my session primarily revolved around a discussion concerning my profile and past internships. Additionally, I was posed with a single basic puzzle. In the initial 10-15 minutes of the interview, the CEO provided an overview of the company. I actively engaged in the conversation by posing questions, demonstrating my genuine interest in the company and showcasing my industry knowledge. Subsequently, the discussion shifted towards my professional experience, during which I elaborated on how I approached and resolved challenges encountered in my previous roles.
