Interview Questions
Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
Hello, I\’m Divyansh Kalia currently in my final year of the Electronics and Computer program at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. Beyond academics, my passion lies in adventurous pursuits, such as trekking and hiking. I\’ve actively engaged in several clubs and societies during my time here. I recently got placed in Bain and Co.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
In terms of difficulty, I would rate the interviews a 6 out of 10.
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
The written test lasted for 60-90 minutes and comprised 20 questions based on five different cases. These cases were divided into two sections: one focused on comprehension, and the other on data interpretation and logical reasoning. The comprehension part proved to be notably challenging, and the aptitude section was also quite tricky. Essentially, we were presented with numerous pie charts and bar graphs, and the answers to the questions required a combination of information from both types of graphs. The exam is quite demanding, as it necessitates a significant amount of time and effort to independently solve the questions. I would recommend that everyone practice data interpretation questions and become proficient in reading and interpreting graphs. Additionally, having some business acumen can be beneficial in tackling these tests.
