Interview Questions
Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers
Hello, I’m Hardik. I hail from Gurugram, Haryana, and I’m currently in my fourth year, pursuing a B.E. in Computer Engineering at Thapar University. I’m delighted to share that I’ve secured a placement at Arista Networks. Additionally, I had the privilege of interning at Samsung PRISM, and I also dedicated my skills to collaborating with an NGO in developing a portal for their needs.
Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)
6/10
Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
The initial shortlisting was based on CGPA, followed by an aptitude round, a group discussion, and then an interview round, which encompassed both the technical and HR aspects in a single interview round. There was no coding round as such.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)
After shortlisting about 750 students based on GPA and resumes, we proceeded with an aptitude test comprising 50 questions. The questions primarily centered on core subjects, with a particular emphasis on Computer Networks. Following this , 60 students were further shortlisted for a GD. The topic for the GD was “Leveraging AI in Networking”. In GD two mentors are assigned to each group followed by a discussion on topic. After this,22 are selected for the interview round.
