Interview Questions

Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers

Hi everyone! Mukul Singhal here, currently interning with JP Morgan. I’m a Merstack Dev by profession and thrilled to announce that I’ll be transitioning to a Software Engineering Intern role at JP Morgan.

Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

A 7 out of 10

Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)

So, about JPMC – they’re shortlisting names for the Online Assessment (OA), and it’s all based on the CG score, which needs to be 7 or higher. After the OA shortlisting, The OA questions revolve around DSA and basic math.

Then you move on to a simple tech-based round.

Now, it’s the interview at Glider.ai, an AI-based platform. You record a video, and AI detects specific keywords, creating a scorecard submitted to JP Morgan for evaluation. After that, it’s Code for Good Time. If you’re in the meeting, chances are super high for placement or internship.

Glider interview? Just your typical HR questions like where you see yourself in 3 years and why JP Morgan.

Now, Code for Good is more mentor-based, with mentors throwing coding-related questions your way.

By the way, among all the companies I’ve interviewed with, JP Morgan Chase had the simplest OA.
