Interview Questions

Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers

I am Ritik Kansal, a fourth ECE student from Bathinda, Punjab. I joined Thapar after clearing my JEE MAINS. Initially, I wasn’t allotted the Computers branch even though I had a keen interest in computers. So I started to study the C/C++ language in the meantime before my first year in college. In the first year, I was not part of any society which made me have limited to no interaction with seniors, which also made me have no guidance or mentoring from them. In my second year, I mostly worked on Web Development and did freelance work. In my third year, I had applied for an internship with Goldman Sachs but unfortunately, I did not get any position since I did not have a fair idea of the level of questions that had to be prepared. At this very point, I realized that my DSA skills need to be worked upon and from there, I worked hard and got here.

Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

The interviews were moderately complex. On a scale of 1-10, according to many companies, its level was 6-7, but since I had prepared well, I found them to be between 4-5.

Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)

Oracle had its own platform. There were two written test rounds.
Round 1: It was based on MCQs and had four sections that checked your knowledge on aptitude, DSA, English, and computer fundamentals like DBMS, OOPs, OS.
Round 2: It was a coding round with two questions that were based on Graphs.
