Ques. Introduce yourself to the readers

My name is Shreyya Saraf, and I am currently in my 4th year in ENC branch at Thapar University, Patiala . Recently, I received a placement offer from ZS Associates.

Ques. What was the difficulty level of the interview? (1- very easy, 10-very difficult)

Rating: 6–7
the interview was moderately challenging. Some sections required careful preparation, while others were straightforward but demanded quick thinking under time pressure.

Ques. What was the procedure of the placement that took place? (Shortlisting criteria/ coding or aptitude test/ number of interviews)
  1. Google Form Submission:
    Candidates commenced the process by completing a Google form to register their applications.
  2. Resume Shortlisting:
    A thorough evaluation of resumes was conducted, and approximately 400 students were shortlisted for each role across various categories.
  3. Aptitude Test:
    • Test Overview: The test assessed key competencies, including:
      • Attention to detail
      • Fundamental mathematical problem-solving
      • Logical reasoning through simple puzzles
    • Complexity:
      • The questions were moderately straightforward, but the significant number of questions paired with stringent time constraints demanded quick decision-making and efficient answer selection.
  4. Stages of Assessment:
    • Aptitude and Coding Round: This initial round evaluated logical reasoning, analytical skills, and coding proficiency (specific to coding roles).
    • Communication Skills Test: A verbal and written communication test designed to assess articulation and clarity of ideas.
    • Case Study Round: Shortlisted candidates solved and presented real-world scenarios during this round.
Ques. Tell us about the written/online test. (Aptitude, Coding, Test Platform, etc)

The aptitude test was relatively simple and straightforward, without requiring much elaborate preparation. In the communication skills test, candidates were asked to perform several tasks:

  • Speaking Component:
    Sentences were provided that needed to be spoken aloud. Additionally, audio clips were played, followed by related questions. Candidates were given 30 seconds to mentally frame responses before delivering them verbally.
  • Essay Writing:
    A specific topic was provided with a word limit, typically ranging between 100 and 200 words, requiring candidates to articulate their thoughts clearly and concisely.
